Mt Baw Baw Ski Club

...a ski club for families since 1945

Welcome to Mt. Baw Baw Ski Club Inc.

2015 is a time for big celebrations as it is our 70th Year @ Mount Baw Baw!  In recognition we are working to have a full weekend of celebrations in October (yes, after the snow has gone so we can have as many past members attend as possible by driving all the way up to the lodge!)

Our club is the oldest club on the mountain so we urge you to view logo_ds.pngour history page to be amazed by some of the early photographs.  These pioneers managed to select a location that today is ideally situated near the ticket office and main lift area. From our lounge room we have excellent views and allows us to ski right to the front door of the lodge.

If you're looking for a place to call 'home' while on the mountain please e-mail us at enquiry@mtbawbaw.org.au  to book some accommodation or perhaps find out how to become a family member.

Lodge Manager

This year Katrina Steel is our on-site Lodge Manager.  For CABS bookings, she'll be looking after your needs while staying at our club.  We welcome her to her to Mt Baw Baw as it's her first time to our snowfields!

What? More snow than Buller!

With snow just as deep as Buller who could resist building an amazing igloo.  This year the Dobbie family have outdone lasts years's effort which an igloo that you may like to snow camp in.  Of course Iris and Ray had to inspect this tremendous effort which if the cold temperatures prevail is likely to to stay in tact for a number of weeks to come.

Life Member

Congratulations to Ray Whitehurst (the skier with the orange beanie!) who was admitted as Life Member to Mount Baw Baw Ski Club after 50 years for 'doing whatever needed to be done' to continue to make our club successful over all those years.  We'll be adding a Life Member profile very shortly, so please come back to read about the contributions our members have made over the many years!
